I am a Digital Accessibility Specialist, entrepreneur, and advocate for inclusivity, driven by my lived experience as a blind individual who has faced health challenges, inaccessible solutions, and systemic barriers. These experiences have fueled my passion for creating a world where technology empowers everyone, regardless of ability.

As a certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) by the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), I bring deep expertise in accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1, Section 508, ADA, and EN 301 549. My work focuses on helping organizations—from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses—make their digital spaces accessible, compliant, and user-friendly.

What I Do

  • Conduct detailed web and mobile accessibility audits to identify and resolve barriers
  • Craft comprehensive VPATs (Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates) that align with global standards
  • Deliver strategic consulting services, empowering businesses to embrace accessibility as a core value.

In addition to my technical expertise, I have a strong foundation in digital marketing, specializing in SEO, content marketing, and social media. This unique combination allows me to guide clients in creating accessible, impactful content that reaches and resonates with diverse audiences.

My work has been recognized with the 2020 Universal Design Award by the National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP), a testament to my commitment to driving meaningful change in the accessibility landscape.

My Platforms and Advocacy

I founded DigitalA11y.com, a comprehensive resource hub for accessibility professionals, businesses, and advocates. Through this platform, I share insights, tools, and strategies to make digital accessibility achievable for all.
I also lead HelloA11Y, India’s largest accessibility-focused community, which connects like-minded professionals and enthusiasts, fostering collaboration, education, and advocacy.

Speaking and Mentorship

As a passionate storyteller and speaker, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my journey and expertise at conferences, corporate events, and community meetups. Notable events I’ve organized include HELLOA11Y Accessibility Office Hours, Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) 2020 and 2021, and WordPress Accessibility Day.
Mentorship is a cornerstone of my work. I’ve guided aspiring professionals in accessibility and digital marketing, equipping them with the skills and confidence to build fulfilling careers and contribute to a more inclusive digital world.
