Shuchita Bio
Hello, I am Shuchita !
I am a Project Manager and provide seamless project delivery at DigitalA11Y

A lil bit about me!
My name is Shuchita Prakriti. I was born and raised in Nagpur. Thanks to both my parents working in print media, I developed a deep appreciation for creative writing and the arts at a young age. At 18, I enrolled in Swaraj University, an alternative learning space near Udaipur, Rajasthan, where I had the rare privilege to travel the country and immerse myself in various cultures.
Having family members with cognitive and behavioural disabilities made me acutely aware that the world often excludes them and boxes them into the identity of “a person with a disability,” rather than valuing their skills and knowledge. Working at DigitalA11Y allows me to deepen my knowledge in accessibility, learn hands-on how to create digital experiences with everyone in mind.

Professional Work
I’ve worked as a freelance writer, translator, and ghostwriter, helping shape ideas across languages, and contexts.
I have also engaged in youth facilitation and gained an appreciation for witnessing and inculcating diverse perspectives and experiences through my work.

Personal Interests
Having been surrounded by writers, painters, and other creatives, I naturally developed an interest in creative writing, doodling and line work, as well as knitting. My hyperfixation tends to oscillate between the three.
Professional Philosophy
My professional philosophy is to work towards deepening and mastering a wide range of skills–both tangible and intangible– that contribute to a better working environment for everyone.
Vision and Goals
My long-term vision and goals, besides honing my skills in the digital accessibility field, include launching a bespoke knitting business and publishing a book.
